Building on this success, the Gerber family has purchased a 28-acre property in Mount Sterling, where Jemstar Meats LLC is currently being built. This new facility will focus on USDA-approved meat processing, including slaughter, processing, and value-added services, with an emphasis on beef and hogs. Jemstar Meats will also feature a retail location offering a wide variety of products, from fresh meats to ready-to-eat items, deli products, jarred goods, baked goods, candies, and grocery items.
